Demi Lovato Shows Unpublished Photo In Bikini

Demi Lovato is no longer a prisoner of her image, nor of the criticism that it may cause, because on Thursday afternoon she freed herself from one of her greatest fears: showing herself to the world as it is.

The singer published an emotional message about self-love along with a photograph without filters or editing that has caused a stir on social networks. "This is my biggest fear, an unedited photo of me in a bikini and guess what, it's cellulite!" She wrote alongside the snapshot.

While sharing her image, the curvaceous interpreter urged her followers to love each other, even if they do not meet the standard of perfect beauty.

“I'm really tired of being ashamed of my body, editing (yes, the other bikini pictures were edited and I hate that I did that but it's true), so that others think I'm YOUR idea of what beauty is, but I just don't it's me,”Lovato wrote. This is what I have. I want this new chapter in my life to be authentic to who I am, rather than trying to meet someone else's standard. So here I am, without shame, without fear and proud of my own body that has struggled so much and that will hopefully continue to amaze me when it gives birth someday.”

The singer claimed to be happy to return to the movies and television without the pressure of having a rigorous exercise routine or depriving herself of enjoying meals for fear of gaining weight.

"I was terrified of [eating] a real birthday cake and I was miserable [following] crazy diets," she said. “So here I am, unpolished, real, and I love myself and you should love yourself too. I'm not excited about my appearance, but I appreciate it and sometimes that's the best I can do. I hope to inspire others to appreciate your body as well.”

The message was applauded by his followers who appreciated his action and courage. "You are beautiful," wrote more than one of her fans. "You are an inspiration," said another.
