This really is teamwork!

Players on a varsity football team in Arkansas shaved their heads in solidarity with their cancer-fighting coach.

Team coach Kris Sweet was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in early July and began his chemotherapy treatment this month.

The Lyon College players showed their compassion for their coach, however, he does not want his illness to be a distraction for the team, he told ABC News.

The moment they surprise the coach with the beautiful gesture was recorded in a viral video in which one can see, one by one, how the players lined up to share a hug with coach Kris Sweet.

"Everything is for you, coach," young people are heard saying in the emotional video posted on Twitter this week by the school's athletic department.

Sweet was hired to be the team's coordinator temporarily, but the players are already establishing a lifelong bond.

Sweet brings 20 years of college and career experience to her current role. Sweet and his wife, Kate, have two daughters, Alexandra and Megan.
