Elements of the National Police in Barcelona took the surprise of their lives when, when checking a passenger from a flight from Colombia, they discovered that under his mysterious wig he hid more than half a kilogram of cocaine.

“His toupee was very curious, but the agents there are very expert and they focus especially on the attitude. They were very struck by how nervous he was when he passed the security checkpoint,”a spokesman for the National Police told the local newspaper La Vanguardia.

According to the police, the man was traveling on board one of the so-called “hot flights”, that is, those that come from countries where there are known routes for drug trafficking. But what made him fall was neither how bulging his wig was nor how huge his pompadour was, but rather his nervousness in passing security after landing.

Photos released by the police show the very serious gentleman with and without the wig, revealing his thin-haired skull with a bundle firmly attached to the top of his head. Her arrest occurred on June 18 when the 65-year-old man arrived at the airport on a flight from Bogotá.

The subject was detained on site and tests determined that the mysterious powder contained in the package was indeed cocaine. According to police sources, the value of the drug amounts to 30,000 Euros, that is, some swam by the grandparents and parents of a single family and as revealed by the police, their ingenious system managed to smuggle up to 600 grams of the drug per month.
