After the spectacular accident she suffered, Mayeli Alonso with her partner, singer Jesús Mendoza, last Monday, the businesswoman offered details of what happened and confessed that she was afraid of dying.

Visibly moved, Lupillo Rivera's ex-wife resorted to social networks to thank the support messages of her followers and explain what happened.

"It was very unpleasant, very ugly. I was driving, I was going too slow, I was following all the people because it started raining super ugly. I told Jesus that the car was strange. I tried to move to the left lane and when I passed, the car totally lost control. We drove around the road, I was screaming, trying to control the steering wheel. The only thing I remember from that moment was that everything was like in slow motion,”explained the controversial reality star. "My children are going to be left without me, was the first thing I thought."

In his live broadcast, Alonso visibly shocked commented that he hit the road divider bar on the left side of his car, but what surprised him most was that the brakes of his latest model truck did not respond when pressed.

"I have been traumatized by car accidents, because we have experienced misfortunes like this in my family, thank God my children were not there, thank God nothing happened to me," she said.

Although the accident did not get older, Alonso suffered injuries to his left leg, as well as his head and arm. At the time of the accident, she was not taken to the hospital and revealed that she left the place as fast as she could to try to alleviate the shock she was in.

“I didn't feel anything [the blow]. God was there, that's for sure. I felt like I had fallen on a mattress. I went into shock, I couldn't speak, I couldn't move, I was totally blocked. The [Mendoza] was shocked. He was trying to calm me down. I hug myself. I wanted to get out of the car, to be somewhere else. I did not want the ambulance to arrive,”he said.

A couple of days after the incident, Alonso said that, although she is still shocked by what happened, physically she feels better and that she is ready to resume her work. She also reflected that this experience has led her to understand how lucky she is.

“It didn't take something like that to happen for me to appreciate how great God is to me, but it was a very big impact, something very ugly. God has a plan for me, I'm sure of that. So many tests that I have passed these last months I think that they have been the change that God wants in my life, of the plan that he has for me”, he expressed. Jesus and I are fine. We live in a very scary moment. I consider life to be so beautiful and that God has been so good to me and that I am such a lucky woman. God is with me, God protects me and he is not going to allow anything bad to happen to me”.
