The world of sport and wrestling is in a state of dismay after news broke that UFC star Rachael Ostovich had to be hospitalized after being the victim of a violent attack.

The popular 27-year-old fighter, who is known as the "Wonder Woman" of this modality, had to be rushed to a hospital in the city of Honolulu, Hawaii, to treat her wounds.

Despite the fact that the reports on what happened assure that the athlete has already been discharged from the medical center to which she was taken, it is also claimed that Rachael could have suffered a serious fracture in an orbital cavity of her face and which would jeopardize his immediate future in the world of fighting.

As revealed by TMZ through its online site, the authorities in Hawaii are investigating what happened and the first reports reveal that the attack was carried out by a person close to the fighter, so it would be treated as a case of domestic violence..
