Garibaldi Square in Mexico City is a meeting point for tourists, citizens and lovers of traditional music in the country. This weekend the mythical place has been bathed in blood after a terrible shooting that has left five people dead.
A group of individuals dressed as mariachis opened fire on the people who were there unexpectedly. Other victims continue to fight for their lives in the hospital after being shot.
The authorities assure that those responsible for this human tragedy fled on motorcycles and as of Saturday night, they had not yet been captured. What is known so far is that behind these costumes were two men and two women.
The assassins chose this iconic place on a very important day for the country, that of its independence. The attackers knew that the famous square would be overflowing with people and they turned it into the center of the massacre to end the lives of innocent people.
At the moment there are images of those responsible for the shooting fleeing on their motorcycles, a recording that will be analyzed to the millimeter to find the culprits. Screaming, blood and chaos reigned on the scene during this fateful night until police officers arrived.
