Frank Romero, a member of the Locomía group, died this Monday in Huelva due to a bacterial infection, as reported by the agency Europa Press, his representative, Paco San José. The funeral will take place this Tuesday in his hometown, where the singer ran an artistic academy.
Romero was also an actor, screenwriter and presenter. He was part of Locomía in recent years; He participated in the television series Vidas cruzadas or Arrayán, and in several not-so-well-known feature films.
Another member of the band, Santos Blanco, also died of natural causes at the age of 46.
Locomía was a group that became very famous in the late 80's due to its rhythm, the use of fans and clothing with large shoulder pads. His best known songs were "Loco Vox"; "Rumba, samba, mambo"; "Crazy Mine, or Girl".
