Frances McDormand's Oscar Thief Arrested

One of the most emotional moments of the recent Oscar 2018 evening was undoubtedly when Frances McDormand won the prized statuette for Best Leading Actress. But it seems that the night also had a moment that brought the star of the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri to tears, as someone stole her award.

As reported by People magazine through its online site, after the award ceremony, the actress went to the celebration party for the winners, but in the midst of the festivities the 60-year-old artist noticed that her Oscar had missing.

The powerlessness to find her precious prize led to the star not being able to hold back her tears of sadness, so she retired from the festivities totally overwhelmed in the company of her husband, Joel Coen.

Neither short nor lazy, the daring thief took the opportunity to pose on his social networks boasting of the statuette and assuring that he had won it for "Best producer".

Unfortunately for Bryant, his 15 minutes of fame and glory with an alien Oscar ended when authorities arrested him for theft. "Fran and Oscar reunited happily and are enjoying an In-N-Out burger together," Simon Halls, the actress's representative, told the USA Today newspaper.
