Juli Briskman, the woman who a few days ago showed Donald Trump the middle finger while riding her bicycle next to the presidential motorcade, was fired from her job.

As reported by the BBC on October 28, a photographer portrayed her showing the finger to the President of the United States while riding his bicycle near his limo. Proud of her daring, she placed the image on her social media profile. This did not go unnoticed by her employers Akima LLC, who called a meeting with her.

The marketing and social media expert who lives in Virginia, admitted at that meeting that she was indeed the protagonist of the photo that went viral and, as she told the Huffington Post, executives told her that they classified the image as "obscene" or “Lascivious” and that by sharing them on his personal Twitter and Facebook accounts, he had violated the company's social media policies. Under those reasons, she was fired.

Despite the fact that in her Twitter profile Briskman clarifies that all her tweets only represent her and that, according to her, she clarified in that meeting that not only did she not mention the company on her social networks but also had not been on schedule When the picture was taken, he was not excused.

The woman says that in a different incident, a male colleague was allowed to keep his job after posting (and deleting) a message deemed offensive. And at the same time he asks why she was immediately fired from her position.

The mother of two children who describes herself on her social networks as a yoga lover and marathoner, had been working in communications for six months for that firm, which is a government contractor and specializes in providing federal and commercial information technology services, systems engineering, software development, cyber security, and space and aviation operations, among other things.
