Melania Trump advocated for the victims of the hurricanes that have hit Puerto Rico, Florida, Texas and several of the small islands of the Caribbean in a message broadcast by the White House through social networks.
The First Lady of the United States explained that both she and President Donald Trump had seen in person the devastation caused by the devastating cyclones and asked American citizens to donate money or their time as volunteers to help victims.
"The President and I have been direct witnesses to the compassion and commitment of Americans as friends, neighbors, and strangers who continue to offer time and money to help each other," said the first lady in the message.
“Your help is still needed. Donate to an organization of your choice and volunteer to help your compatriots, he added.
