Voice Of Band Cuisillos Murdered

After a shooting at his home in Jalisco, Mexico, the vocalist of the Banda Cuisillos, Francisco Ernesto Ruíz, was killed, according to the Mexican newspaper El Universal.

Although initially it was mentioned that the death was the result of an attempted assault, the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office reported that it was a direct attack on the singer.

“According to the first investigations, it has been established that the man [Francisco Ernesto Ruíz] was directly shot at by several individuals who arrived at the home and assaulted him with firearms, and fled. The firearm shells were found at the scene,”explained the Prosecutor's Office.

The vocalist was resting at home, in the company of his wife, after having made various presentations in recent days.

The band confirmed the death through a message on their social network.

"With great pain and sadness, we received the sad news that a great warrior had lost his life," the group wrote on their Facebook account. “Ernesto Ruiz, in a very short time, became a great partner; with its spark it conquered the hearts of our fans, but above all, it earned a great place within the Cuisillos family”.

In addition, they included in the text an emotional message for their partner.

“We will always remember him with a lot of love, like the great human being he was, always happy. There are no words that describe what we feel right now. We are left with your memory, with the great moments we shared … Thank you for so much dear friend, concluded the members.

At the moment, the investigations continue and it is expected that in the next few days an official report will be made regarding the death of Francisco Ernesto Ruiz.
