For many years, Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has been rumored to have a distant relationship with Kim Cattrall, who brought Samantha to life in the famous television series that subsequently jumped into the movies with two movies. Now, it is confirmed that there is a bad relationship between the two, due to the statements that the latter has made for the cancellation of a third film in this saga.

Last week, the interpreter for Carrie Bradshaw confirmed that there would not be a third Sex and the City film.

"It's over … we're not going to do it," Parker told People magazine. "I'm disappointed; We had a beautiful script, fun, heartbreaking and with history."

The rumors that it was because of Cattrall were immediate, which aroused the fury of the actress, who immediately defended herself.

"The only demand I made was that I didn't want to make a third movie … and that was in 2016," Cattrall wrote on her Twitter account.

Subsequently, he lashed out directly at his former co-star.

"This is when I must hold Sex and the City people accountable, especially Sarah Jessica Parker, I think she could have been gentler," she warned in an interview with Piers Morgan. "I don't know what her problem is, I never have."

According to Cattrall, his decision to leave that project behind comes from long ago because now he wants to dedicate himself to another class of proposals.

“This is a chapter that I want to end. I will start with a new one and I feel very confident that my future depends on this decision. It's my right. Ironically, that was what Sex and the City was always about, she concluded.
