Dwayne The Rock Johnson met in person Tuesday with the 10-year-old boy who made headlines for saving his 2-year-old brother from drowning in a pool thanks to imitating a scene from the San Andreas movie starring the ex-wrestler.

The star of the film Moana shared on her social networks a video and numerous photos of her meeting with the little boy, whose name is Jacob O'Connor.

"I just want to say that I'm proud of you," Johnson said in the video, which was shot on the set of his next movie, Skyscraper. "What a special day. What a special child. Thank you Jacob for being amazing and for being the kind of person we all aspire to be.”

The Rock also shared photos with the O'Connor family taken during the filming of the tape in Vancouver, Canada.

Jacob became a hero when he found his brother Dylan floating upside down in his home pool. Not only did he get him out of the water, but he practiced the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques that he learned when seeing them in a scene from the San Andreas film in which the character played by Johnson revives his daughter.

"The film appeared in my head and I began to think about that scene," the boy told The Washington Post.

Johnson was in charge of spreading the beautiful story through a message on Instagram that he shared on August 25. "I am so amazed and impressed by the heroic actions and instincts of this little 10-year-old boy in the midst of that kind of emergency," wrote the actor, who called the little boy a hero and expressed a desire to shake hands with him.

So it was.
