Ozuna Faces Don Omar

It seems that a new lawsuit between urban music performers is cooking, after the statements of Ozuna, who warns that he would not record a song with Don Omar.

"He does not respect us and he does not have that human value and he is Don Omar," Ozuna warned on the American radio program El Jangueo (Univisión Radio). “We cannot disrespect others' work. I think he lacks it for us and we continue to respect him however he wants and that is why I would not record with him”.

Despite being against the attitude of Don Omar, the interpreter of “Ahora dice” recognizes his talent and the importance of his work in the urban music genre.

“He is a brilliant guy, he is a guy with the most talent. There is no greater talent in urban music than Don Omar is, but it is not only talent that is the desire to want to be or the desire to make things happen”, he added.

However, he considers that "you cannot be offending people, we cannot look bad" and reproves that as a musical colleague the singer of "Danza Kuduro" is the first to reprove the work of his colleagues.

"He is the guy I have followed the most, the greatest example," he confessed. "I think it doesn't have that value of what we do for gender."

Ozuna also mentions that “of course” that he would respond to Don Omar if he attacked him, but he would do so personally, without carrying out any scraps for a confrontation.

“I am not a type of tiradera, I would not take it musically. I already take him as a normal person”, he concluded.
