A veritable shower of stars is expected to descend on the city of Manchester to pay tribute to the victims of last week's terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert.

It was the 23-year-old American singer herself who announced the date of the event on Twitter on Tuesday, which will be held on Sunday under the title One Love Manchester.

The concert, which will take place at Manchester United's Old Trafford Stadium, will be attended by the British group Coldplay and the singers Katy Perry, Pharrell, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, in addition to the group Take That.

According to CNN, all the proceeds will go to the so-called We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which together with the United Kingdom Red Cross and the Manchester Citizen Council provides assistance to the victims of the attack, in which 22 people died.

According to the Huffington Post, fans who attended the original concert, held on May 22 in Manchester, will receive free tickets, if they register before May 31.

Concert tickets will go on sale on June 1 by Ticketmaster.
