Actress Pamela Anderson focused attention last Saturday at the Cannes Film Festival with a very different look to that remembered by fans of the Baywatch series that made her a sex symbol.

The Canadian, who turns 50 on July 1, showed an almost unrecognizable face as she passed the red carpet of the 70th edition of the venerable film competition in the French Cote d'Azur. Even rumors of a possible plastic surgery or excess botox were unleashed, according to the media present.

Although her figure, dressed in a navy blue dress with a prominent neckline, looked aesthetic and shapely, the same did not happen with her face that was completely exposed to a hairstyle gathered towards the back.

The image of the former Playboy bunny even contrasts with the one seen last month during the Coco de Mer Icons lingerie campaign that she starred in.

Anderson has been romantically related to Julian Assange, whom he frequently visits at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he has been held for years due to a lawsuit.

But this case of surprise with Anderson at the obvious changes in his face is not new. Suffice it to recall that a similar controversy occurred in October 2014 when René Zellweger appeared at the annual ELLE party at Hollywood Women.
