Where Oprah Winfrey surprised hundreds of teachers by giving them cars, Katie Blomquist did her thing with two wheels.

But when he saw that many of his students came from poor families, his dream grew and he decided to raise enough money to give a bicycle to each of the 650 students at his school, Pepperhill Elementary School, in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This week, the teacher gathered all the students from that educational center on the outskirts of the school to deliver their gift, which was accompanied by their respective helmets and padlocks. The surprise unleashed shouts of joy and joy among the little ones.

Perhaps the most excited was Blonquist herself, because although she started with the intention of helping a child, her campaign "became something a thousand times more incredible than she had ever dreamed of," he said.
