Arnold Schwarzenegger disagrees with President Donald Trump's way of acting.

During an interview in Extra, presented by Mario López, the former governor spoke about the recent executive order approved by the new US president, which prohibits Muslims of various nationalities from entering the country.

"The real problem is that it was wrongly approved," said the new Celebrity Apprentice driver. "If they had submitted the law through the Department of Justice and Homeland Security, and allowed the lawyers to study and really focus on that law, in addition to spending time doing it well."

Despite agreeing with the need to prevent potential terrorists from entering the country, Schwarzenegger censured the measure that is affecting so many people, especially those with permanent residence permits. "Ban people with a Green card, which means that the United States has given you permission to work here permanently and you are on the path to achieving nationality … I was in that position," he explained.

"It's crazy … And it makes us look stupid when the White House is poorly prepared to take out an executive order like this," added the former bodybuilding star.

On the other hand, Schwarzenegger admitted that he also made mistakes when starting his career as governor of California. "The most durable laws are those that are elaborated with the participation of the two parties," he assured.

President Donald Trump 's order not to allow travelers from some Muslim-dominated nations to enter the United States has caused all kinds of reactions and has affected thousands of people, including some illustrious citizens of the world.
