International Earth Day is approaching and there are many events and initiatives being carried out to raise awareness about the actions of humans that are doing harm to the environment. Among those things is the immense amount of garbage not only from food and other things that we do on a daily basis, but also from the garbage that we throw away without even giving it the opportunity to be recycled. That is why it is important to raise awareness about the best ways to create less waste and, by the way, take advantage of the clothes you have that can still have excellent use for other people.

That is why this Friday and Saturday, with only two days left for Earth Day, the stylist of the stars Irma Martínez will open the doors of her studio in Miami for an event in which she, some celebrities like Karen Martínez and bloggers, like Jenny López, will wear the clothes they no longer wear and show Miamians the importance of buying used clothes.

“I have been a lover of vintage clothing for over 30 years. I enjoy giving clothing a second chance,”the stylist said in a statement. "They tell a story and their originality is what makes each piece special."

This event is held in conjunction with Angie Ferrer, owner of the Vibe Consignment store, Fashion Revolution, a movement that seeks to change the way clothes are produced and purchased, and the UpCycle Project, an organization that is responsible for raising awareness of the immense amount of garbage created by the fashion industry.

The event will be held at Trendy Studios, located at 64 NW 54 Street, Miami, Fl 33127 and the doors will be open from 10 am until 6 pm
