This Monday the nominees for the 2017 Golden Globes were announced, granted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, where Latino talents are increasingly present.

Actresses Anna Kendrick and Laura Dern, and interpreter Don Cheadle were in charge of publicizing, from the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, the names of the candidates to win the greedy award.

Gina Rodríguez repeats a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Jane The Virgin, a character who already won her the award in 2015. Likewise, Gael García Bernal could be rewarded as best actor for his work in Mozart in the Jungle.

The 74th award ceremony will have a new driver. Tonight Show (NBC) presenter Jimmy Fallon has been chosen to replace British actor Ricky Gervais on January 8.

At the same gala, actress Meryl Streep will be recognized with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her successful career. Streep has won eight Golden Globes and has been nominated 29 times.

The gala can be followed live starting at 8 pm EST on NBC.
