In September of last year, Chiquis Rivera excitedly presented the new member of her family through social networks: a beautiful puppy that arrived to fill her home with happiness. "I present to you our son Dallas Mendez who came to brighten our home. God is good," the singer wrote at the time through her Instagram profile.

What we did not know until now is that the pet unfortunately only lasted a few months in his house since in November of last year he died suddenly.

Jenni Rivera's eldest daughter announced the sad news this Wednesday through the Univision show El break de las 7, where her husband Lorenzo Méndez was also a guest.

"That's an exclusive, I haven't said it," Chiquis shared.

"We have not told anyone, but he did die," added Méndez.

The former vocalist of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón said that these types of dogs usually come with many diseases and, unfortunately, Dallas was no exception.

"The person who cleans the house told us 'like he is not moving,'" Lorenzo explained about the moment they found out that his 'son' had died.

Chiquis, meanwhile, acknowledged that his death was a severe blow to her.

"I have an angel as Lorenzo's mother says that he saved me from something because it is good to have pets in the house for that reason so for me he is an angel," he said.
