There are times that not even going to war a mother is prepared for the tantrums of her children. This was proven when a mother in the English military had to deal with her 2-year-old son's tantrums on an important date with Queen Elizabeth II of England.

The cute scene was captured on video and shows the little boy, named Alfie Lunn, by the hand of his mother, Michelle Lunn, at a veterans commemoration ceremony this Thursday in London. The boy's father, Sergeant Mark Lunn, 29, served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The boy's mother was stationed in Afghanistan and currently works at The Royal Logistics Corps.

The uniformed woman and her little son were waiting their turn to greet the 90-year-old monarch and give her flowers as she approached in the company of her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The boy squirmed while his mother was holding him and when it was time to deliver the bouquet to Her Majesty the boy burst into a tantrum.

But the story had a happy ending because the boy ended up delivering the flowers to the monarch. Later, the troubled mother told the press that the queen had been "very understanding" because she is also a mother.

"He thanked us," Lunn told reporters stationed at the scene. "He asked Alfie when [his father] was back from his stay abroad and thanked Alfie." The mother confessed that while the meeting lasted she was trying to keep Alfie from ripping everything from them. Look at the video!
