Teacher Arrested For Sexual Abuse Of A Student

A new case of sexual abuse was occurring this week. It took place last Wednesday in Oklahoma, a teacher was arrested when authorities discovered that she had intimate relationships with one of her students, according to PEOPLE magazine.

On-site Sheriff Chriss West began investigating the case when the parents of this teenager contacted them. It seems that there was evidence of such a relationship, such as messages and naked photos on the young man's phone.

Hunter Day, a 22-year-old teacher at Yukon High School, is facing second-degree rape for having sex with a minor and for possessing child pornography. She also had photos of her student's genitals

"Teachers have a role to protect and educate our children, not induce them into an illegal sexual relationship with them," said the Sheriff as reported by the local station, KWTV.

In addition to all this, Day is married and her husband is the soccer coach of that same institute. "I am no longer surprised that people commit these crimes because predators come from all places and forms," added West.

After discovering on the boy's phone that they had a date, they decided to act. It happened in the teacher's house. When the police entered, they found the woman sitting on the floor of her living room wearing a T-shirt and shorts, as the police report indicates. I was waiting for her with lit candles.

Day was arrested but soon after released after posting bail of $ 85,000. "The safety and well-being of our students is the top priority," district officials said. The abuse case is already in the hands of justice.
