Brad Pitt Renews His Makeup Artist's Garage

Actor Brad Pitt is still embarrassed that his makeup artist Jean Black had to color her butt for one of his movies, and while he regards her as a sister, talking about it takes a little work.

"When it comes out, we can't look each other in the eye," the actor admitted to the press about the anecdote during the 1994 filming of the film Legends of the Fall.

But the reality is that their decades-long relationship has become more than just boss and employee, and they have managed to establish an unbreakable bond due to the discretion that Jean has had with the personal issues of the movie heartthrob.

As a gesture of thanks, the famed actor had a special detail for the makeup expert by nominating her for the renovation of his home garage for the Celebrity IOU program, presented by brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott.

When Jean left town for three weeks, the actor took advantage of the time to get down to business and help remodel the garage and turn it into a guest house with a professional studio, all under the watchful eye of the show's cameras.

“She is like my family, we are like brothers. She has been that person that I value so much in my life,”said the actor to the program.

The makeup artist has worked with the actor in more than 40 movies during her career and has spent countless hours in the dressing room with him. She admitted that while she knows about his generosity, she never imagined that the Hollywood hunk would do something of this magnitude for her.

“I know Brad's generosity, he is enormous. But for him to do that, it's really more than I could hope for. I am so touched, I can't thank you enough,”said Jean excitedly.

For his part, the actor was more than happy to have worked on this project and confessed that construction is one of his favorite hobbies.

“I love the sound of a work. If I'm not building, I'm dying to just walk in one place and see the possibilities,”he said.

The program will air on April 13 on the HGTV network.
