Like most parents, Mexican actor Erick Elías has been confined to his home for days with his daughters Penelope and Olivia as a preventive measure against the spread of the new coronavirus COVID-19, which has already left more than 80 thousand cases of contagion in the United States alone.

But how is the 39-year-old interpreter with his daughters handling this difficult situation?

“At school they explained a lot about what is happening. We also. They are clear about the situation and the logistics of how to teach the classes. The school is doing very well, they have virtual classes, they have been using this system for several days,”he tells People en Español.

The former gallant of the hit soap opera Betty in NY acknowledges that it has been 'a bit complicated' to adapt to this new family dynamic that has been generated in his home due to the coronavirus crisis.

"It is a little complicated for parents with work, doing homework and with all the requirements they have to meet, it has been tiring," Elías says sincerely. "But there is no complaining."

Just as it's been a bit strenuous, it's also having its positive side.

"It has united us a lot, we have talked, sang, danced, we have laughed, we have fought, we have painted ourselves … We have gone through everything in this time," he shares.

The best proof of this is their social networks where Erick has published throughout these days some of the most fun and endearing moments in the company of his two daughters.

The actor was recording in Miami the new Telemundo soap opera 100 days to fall in love when the pandemic broke out and the recordings had to be suspended.

"100 days to fall in love is a very fun project that touches on human relations, of a couple who has been married for 20 years and before they divorce they decide to take 100 days to fall in love again and see if they can save that marriage", tells about the fiction that will premiere in April on Telemundo.
