Prince Albert of Monaco has tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus. This was confirmed this morning with sources in the European principality indicating that "Your state of health is not a concern."
With this, the son of the late Hollywood actress Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, 62, becomes the first head of state in the world to confirm the contagion.
According to EuroweeklyNews, the prince would have been tested earlier in the week and despite the positive diagnosis, he will continue "working from the office", according to an official news from the palace, where it is announced that he will be "regularly" informed of his progress.

The diagnosis has served for the prince to reiterate to his subjects the need to "respect the measures of confinement and limit contacts with others to a minimum."
The royal thus becomes the second member of a European royal house to contract the fearsome virus, since this Wednesday it was reported that Karl von Habsburg, Archduke of Austria has also tested positive for COVID-19.
