Prince William has done it again: the aspirant to the throne of England committed a tremendous blunder by making a "joke" about the coronavirus that for a change has been captured on video and has now gone viral.

Visiting Ireland on Tuesday, the Duke of Cambridge took time to visit the Guinness Brewery. There, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II shared with some attendees of the event and tried one of the famous and dark drinks with his wife Kate Middleton.

"I bet everyone is like, 'I have coronavirus, I'm dying,' and you're like, 'No, I just have a cough,'" the Duke of Cambridge told Joe Mooney, a rescuer who came to the event, trying to be nice. "Yes, the coronavirus thing looks pretty dramatic right now. I think the media is exaggerating it a bit, don't you think? '"He added.

"Surely those who have lost a family member will not find this comment funny," a Twitter user lashed at the video. "Wow, I had no idea that he was so isolated and removed from reality. I also don't know why this surprises me," added someone else. And those were just decent comments, others went straight to insult Prince Charles's son.

This incident recalls the time that William left everyone ice cream when they went to the opening of the Japan House, in London, and when they broke the bread with a group of students he asked them if they had tried "Chinese food" before. Oops!
