As a leading man of successful soap operas, Juan Soler has starred in all kinds of plots, some more convoluted than others, but probably none will be as shocking as the one that the Argentine actor had to live in real life over 20 years ago.

The 54-year-old interpreter, who is preparing to return soon to television as the protagonist of the new melodrama of Televisa La mexicana y el güero along with Itatí Cantoral, found out overnight that he had a daughter in his youth whose existence completely unaware.

"I found out about Valentina until she was a year and a half old," Soler said in an interview with Yordi Rosado on his show La Última Y Semos (Unicable).

The actor, who has close to 1 million followers on Instagram alone, explained that at the time his ex-partner became pregnant he was in Mexico.

"I was a boy, I was saying goodbye because I was coming to Mexico to work and Valentina stayed in the farewell," he said.

It was not until a year and a half after the birth of his daughter that on his return to Argentina, his native country, his ex-partner was able to contact him and give him the news.

“I am still very moved to talk about her for her integrity. She said 'I don't want anything from you but my dad told me that you have to know that you have a daughter'. It is your decision, you can do whatever you want, she has Dad's last name and I am not here to ask you absolutely anything, I want you to know nothing more than that in this world you have a daughter, '”Soler recalled.

"It was strong," acknowledged the gallant of successful soap operas such as Bet for a love and When I fall in love, who obviously decided to take care of the minor.

"I went without the spirit to pass judgment or condemn […], I was very focused and fell in love at the time," he said of the day he met his eldest daughter.

In addition to Valentina, Soler has two more daughters, Azul and Mía, the result of her failed marriage with Maki.
