Maite Perroni Talks About Her Meeting With RBD

Last December, the former members of RBD had a meeting between friends after eleven years of the breakup of the famous musical group. Some recounted their experience of this meeting. Now, Maite Perroni does the same and narrates what it was like to be with her colleagues again.

It was very nice. It was a reunion of six friends that we managed to meet on the same day because, due to different activities and personal situations, it is sometimes impossible to be all six at the same time,”Perroni told the media. “It was a meeting, very, very beautiful, it was six people who love each other and have shared so many things that life gave us. And it was very nice, from an adult and mature place, to meet, hug, talk, remember, and that was for us.”

The singer explains how the idea was given to reunite all after several years of estrangement.

"Everything arose from the pleasure of seeing us, of sharing, of giving us a hug and being together," he added. "It was just a reunion of six souls, of six people that we enjoyed being together."

After the coexistence, rumors arose that the former members of the group were planning work projects as such; which, the also actress completely discarded and explains why.

"Unfortunately, from this image other types of things arose that generated expectations that unfortunately will not be met," he said. "There is no intention of making a professional reunion."

Regarding the images where he appears showing a part of the naked bust on the beach, Maite Perroni played down the importance and assured that the controversy is part of being a public figure.

"The holder of the photographs were a little more scandalous than the photographs," he warned. “The photos are not scandalous at all; I was sunbathing on the beach, having a coconut drink.”
