If a few days ago it was Mayrín Villanueva who was praising Itatí Cantoral, now it has been the unforgettable villain of the successful Mexican soap opera María la del barrio who has had beautiful words for the current couple of her ex-husband and father of their two children, Eduardo Santamarina, in a recent meeting with the media in Mexico.

"Mayrín is beautiful and we love Julia [referring to her youngest daughter], who is also beautiful," the actress said in statements collected by reporter Eden Dorantes.

The unforgettable protagonist of successful melodramas like La viuda de blanco and Until the money separates us recognized that what she was about to say about Mayrín might sound a bit controversial or funny considering that she was Eduardo's partner but still she did not hesitate in publicly declaring that the father of his children had found a great wife.

"The truth is that I think Eduardo got it, it is very funny, it is very controversial to say it, but he did find a great wife," Itatí said.

Regarding the maturity that according to some journalists who were in the place interviewing her, her statements came off the 44-year-old interpreter made it clear that she would not have to hold a grudge against Mayrín since when she came to the life of Santamarina both years ago that they had separated.
