Natti Natasha and Spanish rapper C. Tangana join forces in the new music video "Viene y Va" and the result is mesmerizing. The black and white video captures the glamor of old Hollywood and shows Tangana - popularly known as 'El Madrileño' - in the role of a boxer preparing to face a major opponent.
To deconcentrate and drive him crazy, the character of the Dominican reggaetonera, a dazzling cabaret singer, enters the scene. While receiving blows between the ropes, the boxer continues to dream of the image of this showgirl dancing for him in a sequined dress.
The lyrics of the song remind us that you have to live life intensely before the lights go out. "It's a song that I started composing with DVLP and Capi in Miami," Tangana told Billboard. “I immediately thought it should be a collaboration. I honestly like Natti's tone, it's strong. It had to be someone with an intense record because the beat is heavy."
The music video is directed by Cliqua - the duo of directors RJ Sanchez and Pasqual Gutiérrez - who have worked with Rosalía, Bad Bunny and J Balvin. Tangana has already had successful collaborations with Rosalía ("Before I died"), Becky G ("Booty") and Paloma Mami ("I shouldn't have kissed you").
The theme shows a more melodic facet of the rapper and the video captivates with its exciting characters and its film noir-style aesthetics.
