Actor Stan Kirsch Was Found Dead By His Wife

The entertainment world is mourning after learning of the death of American actor Stan Kirsch, known for his role in the Highlander series, who was found dead by his wife Kristyn Green in what appears to be suicide, according to TMZ.

Green found the body of her 51-year-old husband hanging last Saturday in the bathroom of her Los Angeles residence and immediately called paramedics, who confirmed her death at the scene, according to People.

Kirsch's wife confirmed the sad news in a message on her Facebook account in which she appreciates the support she has received from her friends, family and acquaintances in the face of the tragedy.

“I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support. I have not been able to reply to all text messages, calls, emails, but I have read or listened to each one. I feel surrounded by love and I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you,”she commented on her wall.

Kirsch, who was born on July 15, 1968 in New York City, was also known for his work in films such as Straight Eye: The Movie, the JAG series, and his remembered appearance in an episode of the first season of the Friends series..

The actor also had his own Los Angeles company called Stan Kirsch Studios, which offers services like acting classes, mentoring, and job search to young people who aspire to make their way into the world of entertainment.
