Idris Elba welcomed his son to the world with his girlfriend Naiyana Garth on Thursday, the actor announced on networks this Friday.
The Briton, who stars in the television series The Wire (HBO), shared a tender photo of his little son, showing the baby's fingers touching his own.
“My son Winston Elba was born yesterday. Truly wonderful,”Idris commented in the photo.
Elba, who appeared on People's “Sexiest Man Alive” list in 2013, and Garth, a professional makeup artist, have been together since 2013.
Baby Winston is the second Golden Globe-winning Elba, 41, who recently played Nelson Mandela in the movie Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
The actor has another daughter, Isan, 11, with her daughter Dorwona Sherma.
