One of the kindest faces on Latino television in the United States, Carolina Sarassa comes today to exclusively tell us something very important that all moms in the sweet wait for their first baby should know. If you are in a state of good hope or know someone who is, do not hesitate to share it because it will be very helpful!
This beautiful Colombian has been married to television executive Andrés Chacón for almost eight years. Ten months ago, this precious girl named Chloé Sophía would be born, who has become the light of her eyes. Despite all the love that she brought to her life, Carolina Sarassa recognizes five points that she would have loved for someone to tell her to be more prepared before the arrival of her little girl. They are as follows:
- Marriage changes: My mom always told me that marriage started when you had children, but did not go into detail. I have a wonderful husband and that has helped a lot to face what is no longer, my love, how are you? But, "My love, pass me the diaper."
- Mentally prepare to breastfeed: I was sure from the beginning that I was going to breastfeed. I took many childbirth and postpartum classes, but never breastfeeding because I thought it was something that would occur naturally. When my baby was born, I felt lost realizing how difficult it was. Fortunately and after a lot of effort, we learned both and today I can proudly say that my girl is 10 months old and I continue to give her exclusively her breast milk.
- Days will go by without bathing: I love my baby with madness and I don't want to be apart for a second from her. I confess to you that when the baby was born, days passed where I had to wait for my husband to come home at night to take a bath. They didn't want to leave my little girl alone for a second.
- Buy clothes with buttons for your baby: It is not easy to dress a baby when he is crying and the hollow of the pajamas is too narrow for his head. I bought a lot of clothes "because it was pretty" instead of comfortable. No one told me not to get carried away by the cute and focus on what was easy to put on: "clip" buttons and crossed clothes.
- Taking out a little bit requires strategy! It's easy to see a child with a little snot and think, "Careless mom." Now that I'm a mommy, I understand how sometimes it has taken me hours to get a little out of my baby. They sell some plastic sticks with a small net to fish that have saved my life!
