The new Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa has captivated with its beauty and charisma. The young woman already has more than 2.5 million followers on Instagram just days after being crowned. On her YouTube channel, the public relations professional shared a video where she is seen with long hair, a look very different from the short hair with which she dazzled the judges of the contest.

In the video, which she posted in 2017 when she competed in the Miss South Africa pageant, Zozibini appears in a black swimsuit talking about how she hopes to inspire other women. "I show my roots and where I come from to inspire people and that they know that it doesn't matter where you come from," says the sovereign of beauty. “The most important thing is where you are going. At the end of the day if you are going to go out there to inspire people they have to be able to see pieces of themselves reflected in you, they have to identify with you.”

Although she looks spectacular with long or short hair, the short hair style definitely made her shine even more in Miss Universe and gave her a more modern look within the pageant, where long and wavy hair abounds.

Zozibini said she is proud to be an example to follow for other girls who look like her. "Being able to be here today crowned as Miss Universe with my hair and my skin looking like this is something really magical and I hope it impacts every child who grew up like me and those who were told they were not beautiful," she told the press. Her crown has a meaning that goes beyond the superficial. "It's not just about beauty," she says. "It's about breaking down barriers and doing things they said you couldn't do before."
