This weekend has been full of social events for the British royal house. While on Saturday they went to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, this Sunday the whole family has come to celebrate Remembrance Day.
It was expected to see the interaction of the sisters-in-law, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton and also between Harry's wife with her grandmother Queen Elizabeth. But it was not like that. The Duchess of Sussex did not sit on the same balcony as them, nor on Camila Parker's.
The small dimensions of these spaces did not make physical closeness possible, but Meghan's separation raised suspicions as to why at least it was not attempted, especially with rumors of enmity circulating.
Specialists in royal houses point out that everything depends on the place she occupies in the family, and perhaps the happy mom is not as prominent as the other women, who have been in that circle longer. Nearby sources confirmed last year to PEOPLE magazine that nobody designs the situation in the seats in a concrete way, so there would be no reason to be wrong.
However, the separation between siblings, the official separation of their offices and the evident distance between both marriages could have been a compelling reason for them not to sit together.
What they did agree on was the sobriety of their suits, always dark. The solemnity of the celebration required it and the whole family agreed, at least, on that.
