Barbie Launches Dolls Focused On Emotional Well-being

Barbie has always been one of the most popular dolls among girls and it is no wonder. Since they were created, The Iconic Dolls have been synonymous with perfection and beauty. Of course, since its launch almost 60 years ago, the figure, like what it represents, have changed a lot. We have seen how Mattel, the company that created them, has tried to make Barbie more real and have launched super interesting collections such as the one that paid tribute to some of the most important women in history, including Frida Kahlo, another where they presented the doll in a wheelchair or when they surprised everyone with a line of Barbies with different body types and various skin tones.

Now the brand surprises again, this time with a collection of dolls that have a healthier lifestyle and focus on physical and emotional well-being.

These Barbies perform activities such as meditation or exercises. The collection also includes a doll enjoying a spa day and another who loves masks. In addition, each of the dolls comes with a dog that accompanies them in these activities.

To create these dolls, the company also teamed up with the Headspace meditation company, in addition to creating a personalized meditation guide for children focused on raising awareness of emotional well-being through exercise and other healthy activities.

The doll named Breath with Me Barbie includes a button that children can press to listen to a guided meditation. Each meditation session lasts 4 minutes and these focus on topics such as kindness, how to stay positive and how to be calmer.
