For a few years now I have had a slight obsession with makeup bases. Well, at this point I can say that the obsession has already passed the mild stage. And it is that trying new makeup bases has become one of my favorite hobbies. I love knowing that I can play with my makeup and mix two or three bases to get the result I like. Of course, finding a base that works well for your skin, that is the perfect color and that leaves your face looking flawless, is not an easy thing, even though I already consider myself an expert in the field. Luckily, thanks to my work as a beauty editor I have the opportunity to try most of the bases that come onto the market and that's why I always have a new favorite.

At this time it is the turn of The Lip Bar's Skin Serum Foundation, a full coverage base that leaves the skin like porcelain. I confess that at first I was not so sure about trying it because I was not familiar with the brand, but when I learned more about the products they have and the ingredients, I did not hesitate to try the base and what a surprise I got.

This base, which comes with a brush included, is amazing. With just a little you can cover the entire face and very well. Its formula allows you to cover all the imperfections, leaving the skin almost perfect. Best of all, it's made up of hyaluronic acid and Irish sea moss, ingredients that help care for your skin by keeping it hydrated, promoting collagen production, and keeping wrinkles well away.

Another thing I love about this base? It remains intact all day, even on hot days. When I use it and I get home after eight or nine hours, it seems like I just applied it. Is incredible.
