Hair is something very important for women and especially for Latinas, who from a very young age begin to take care of it and use the necessary products to make it grow and always look shiny. That is why many times, despite the fact that there are excellent hair products, for us the most conventional and effective way is to do treatments with homemade ingredients just as our mother or grandmother taught us. And in that case we know that they will always work. That is well known to Amelia Vega, who since she had her children has been concerned with doing many of the things they need herself, including the treatment she uses on her daughter Alía Hartford Vega.

The former Miss Universe shared in her networks two of the homemade treatments that she uses for her little girl's curly hair, which according to her work wonderfully.

"As a natural conditioner I am putting Lía, aloe. You just put the slipper of the aloe in your hair. One is squeezing it or with the same brush I am removing it, "Vega explained in a story on her Instagram account. "I put it on her hair, I leave it for 20 minutes and then I remove it with water."

In addition to the aloe treatment, the former beauty queen also uses natural oils, which she mixes with aloe and water, to make a spray that allows her to comb her hair more easily.

“Here I liquefied the crystals [of the aloe]. It is liquefied and with a stocking that is filtered to remove the bits from the aloe,”says the mother of three. “Here I was like with this water of aloe. These are my ingredients. I'm going to have the aloe, I have an atomizer that I bought empty. I bought this at Whole Foods. It is a coconut oil. She says it is good for the skin and for hair care. So I took it. This is the Jamican Black Castor, the castrol oil. I was seeing some reviews that this specific one also helps with these factors of hydrating, conditioning and also hair growth. I'm going to mix all this in the atomizer and then comb it all with it”.

Vega has dedicated herself to making many of her children's things by hand, including decorating for their birthdays, decorating some of their clothing and even assembling the furniture they have in their rooms. Best of all, she shares her projects on social media, just as she did with these exciting hair treatments.

“Here it was. They let me know if it works for them”, he explains. “This is supernatural for anyone with babies. It works for me, hopefully they will work for you.”
