For years, contact lenses have been the number one allies of many girls who have preferred them instead of wearing glasses to see better. In fact, as we already know there are also contact lenses that are not for seeing better, but for you to play with your looks and this summer this accessory is more in than ever for both girls who need to see better and for those who just want to see themselves different. But not all of them are experts when it comes to choosing the best fit for them. That is why we took advantage of an interview with Patrick Ta, the makeup artist of celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Eva Longoria, Adriana Lima, Gigi Hadid and Miranda Kerr, among many others, who shared with us some of his tips so you can choose and wear contact lenses this summer. Patrick should contact lenses be chosen according to our skin color?

You should feel free to choose the color you want. I choose contact lenses according to the look, not necessarily according to the skin color. However, I know that some people prefer to choose them according to their skin color, something that also looks good. Green and strong pink are the hottest shade colors for this summer, with which contact color can we combine them?

“A green shade is amazing with Gemstone Green or Amethyst. The pink shade is beautiful with the Mystic Hazel color”.

Speaking of makeup, your collection has been very successful, what else can we expect from you?

I am passionate about beauty and am always looking for ways to reinvent myself. Dr. Fartash, what should we consider when wearing contact lenses?

The first thing you should do is make an appointment with your ophthalmologist. Many people don't know that colored contact lenses are medical devices, so you have to make sure you see a doctor before buying them. It is also very important to wash your hands very well before putting them on. Also, do not use them longer than the doctor tells you and follow their instructions to know how to maintain them.

Is it better to wear disposable contact lenses or those that can be worn for a month or more?

That is something that has to do with the taste of each person.
