Those who follow our Super Woman series both in the magazine each month and in our Ponte Bella section, will know that we love to introduce you to Latina women who succeed in the world of fashion, beauty and business, but who also put their a grain of sand so that we live in a better world, either through working with Latino artisans, collaborating with non-profit organizations, or promoting positive messages.
That is why when we learned about the collaboration between these two super women from the fashion and beauty world we fell in love with their project and with these irresistible accessories that cannot be missing from your beach bag this summer. Kattia Solano, the hair stylist and owner of the Butterfly Studio on Fifth Avenue in New York, and her friend, the designer of Spanish origin, Jacquline López, have created a line of 100 percent silk scarves, turbans, scrunchies and headbands with the most cheerful and trendy prints of the summer.
“As a sustainable brand, we have created these accessories with leftover fabrics [from my designs] so as not to generate waste,” explains López.
In addition to the attractive design, the pieces are designed to have more elasticity and grip, so they are ideal for both professionals and beginners.
