What exactly is The Outfit Bar and who is it for?

Think of The Outfit Bar as if you could buy your Pinterest boards or your favorite pages from your fashion magazines in real life. When you enter The Outfit Bar, more than 70 looks from head to toe, made by me, will be waiting for you. There is an outfit for every occasion: work, weekend, girls night and everything else. All are accessible for any style, pocket and body type. It also includes large sizes, something that was very important when developing this concept. I have also left "love notes" on the mannequins where I share some style tricks, such as how to mix prints like a professional. I see it as a way that women never have to ask themselves "what should I wear?".

What are your golden rules when it comes to getting stylish but inexpensive outfits?

First, invest in temporary pieces that are versatile. Second, that fabulous accessories can enhance any look, and third, a good tailor can make a bargain look like a catwalk.

What do you recommend to someone who is looking to transform their style but doesn't know where to start?

Style and fashion are very visual means, start by marking looks you like on Instagram or save screenshots of styles that catch your attention. After you have a couple of dozen saved, a pattern will appear to help you better understand what appeals to you in terms of color, cut, and point of view. Use that information to decide each purchase, as a kind of map to your personal style. From that point on, don't be afraid to try new things, it's the only way to make sure if something suits you or not. Also, keep your lifestyle in mind before you shop, maybe you love high heels, but you are a very busy mom or you walk 1000 steps a day and they are probably not the best option for you.

What is your favorite piece in the collection for Kohl´s?

I love coordinated looks and there are many in this collection, especially when they are monochromatic. I like [the combination of] this jacket with these jeans.

What is your favorite trend for this summer? And one that doesn't work for you?

My favorite is jumpsuits, in all colors and styles! It is a very stylish single piece that is super easy to wear and accessory in a thousand ways. A trend that does not suit me is platform sneakers, I am too short for that.
