How To Keep Blonde-dyed Hair Healthy

Blonde hair has always been in fashion, but we cannot deny that between 2016 and 2018 this hair color became the most popular, leading many girls to leave their dark hair behind and undergo the process of lightening it and it is there where is the problem. Blonde hair looks very pretty and most girls look great on it, but sadly the hair suffers a lot from the dyes and bleach used to achieve this popular shade. Luckily there are specific products to care for colored hair and also tips to follow to have a healthy mane, no matter how clear or treated it is.

We spoke with Jennifer Yepez, the stylist of celebrities such as Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba and Bella Hadid, among others, and an ambassador for Kérastase, who shared her best advice for women who have blonde or platinum hair, and need to keep it in top condition.

Jennifer, what are your best tips for caring for blond-dyed hair?

I recommend a regimen that is as much for taking care of hair as it is for maintaining color. It is also good to use a treatment that hydrates and nourishes because it repairs the hair. I like to wear an intense mask.

What products do you recommend?

What can be done to prevent hair from breaking after rinsing it?

How can we prevent hair from looking copper, orange or very yellow?

I recommend using purple products. These serve as hair tonics and take away those orange tones.
