We are talking about Yalitza Aparicio, the indigenous girl who has everyone in love, so much so that she adorns the first cover of 2019 for Vogue México.

"I think the most beautiful thing that can happen to you in life is to transcend through people, not yourself," says the young woman in a video that the magazine published.

Aparicio appears on the cover of the important publication dressed in a beautiful cream and black skirt with embroidery and a tulle blouse also embroidered in black, both pieces of Dior's 2019 cruise collection, as well as an oversized belt of the same brand.

The young woman, who recently appeared on the pages of Vanity Fair magazine, also made a video for the magazine, where she appears walking through an abandoned house with a beautiful patterned dress and her flowing hair. And in other shots she wears a more comfortable and casual look of jeans and a cream blouse.

"Certain stereotypes are being broken that only people with a certain profile can aspire to be in a movie or be on a magazine cover," the actress from the Mixtec indigenous community said in that video. “It is something that makes me so happy and proud of my roots. You could never distance yourself from your origin. For me to forget that would be to forget who I am.”
