“They say that dreams come true. I believe that miracles exist”, wrote Marián Ávila on his blog upon learning of the news that she would become the first Spanish model to show at New York Fashion Week.

The 21-year-old model and actress, told in the same post that she practiced every day how to parade at her home in Valencia while waiting for a call from one of the designers who are going to show their collections on the prestigious international catwalk. And the call came!

Next September 8 we will see the Spanish debut with the creations of the designer Talisha White who has chosen her to be her "celebrity model" this year.

"Finally, finally!", I kept crying with emotion. She just repeated, "It's my dream, it's my dream," she says on her blog. “That date is approaching, every time I think about it a lump gets in my throat and I feel like crying, I am very excited. I am going to parade in New York, I have no words, I am going to fulfill my dream.”

Marián debuted as a catwalk model two years ago and has already walked fashion shows for designers from her country such as Francis Montesinos or Lina Lavín in the Madrid and Seville fashion weeks and participated in campaigns and advertisements for firms such as El Corte Inglés.
