InStyle magazine spoke to Alessandra Messervy, executive director of the etiquette and protocol agency The English Manner, who shared her knowledge of the protocol for royal wedding guests to follow this coming Saturday, May 19 in London. According to Messervy, women should avoid necklines or very flashy dresses. They also cannot wear very high heels, revealing outfits, or flashy jewelry.

1- Always wear a hat

The expert assures that although she does not say so in the invitation, men should wear a suit and women should make sure to wear a hat.

2- If they do not wear a hat, they must wear a headdress

It is important that women follow this rule and wear the correct hat or headdress. Although the headdresses are more fashionable at this time, it is correct to wear a hat according to the occasion. Of course, they must try to choose a hat that does not obstruct the view of the person behind or next to it.

3- Guests should not bring gifts especially to this union

Markle and Harry asked the guests to make donations to 7 of the foundations they most identify with.

4- No social networks

Finally, as beautiful as they look and even if they are dying to share the moment on social networks, this is not the place for that.
