Discover how the Brazilian model manages to have that body to pose in a tiny swimsuit for this important edition.

The models featured in Sport Illustrated's swimsuit edition always sport enviable body and skin. That's why we always want to know the products they use and that exercise routine that seems to work wonders. However, contrary to what many people think, these girls follow a strict exercise regimen and never forget to take care of their skin. The reality is that they seem like falls from the sky and to know how they manage to look so perfect we spoke with two of them, Lais Ribeiro and Anna de Paula, two of the Brazilian beauties who posed in tiny swimsuits. Both young women told us about their beauty and exercise routine that has helped them have that incredible figure and how they feel being part of these special edition of Sport Illustrated.

“They do an amazing job because they try to incorporate all body types, personalities and girls from everywhere. It is an honor to be there again,”says the model, who adorns the pages of the edition a second time.

Of course, to pose in a swimsuit, both she and the other girls in the magazine have to prepare very well and eat it, and the way they exercise has a lot to do with it.

“As a swimsuit and underwear model, it is difficult not to always stay in shape because you imagine being called suddenly and you are not ready. We have a balanced diet and I try to exercise every day,”says Ribeiro, who is also one of the Victoria's Secret angels and in recent years has been part of the brand's famous fashion show. I do Pilates, boxing. I try not to do the same because I'm not a fan of exercises. I like the 305 classes where they have a DJ, lights and it's an hour of pure cardio. It has all the types of music you can imagine. You dance a lot and it's incredible. I also do weights. I do a lot of squats.”

However, and although he assures that exercise is important, Ribeiro ensures that to achieve a great body, the most important thing is to eat balanced.

“70 percent of our body you do it thanks to diet and balance. I learned that after 25 years. I ate everything and then changed even if I did exercises”he confesses. “Now I have to take more into account what I eat. In Brazil, as Latinos we are, we like to eat, rice and beans and all those things.

So what does a model like her eat in one day?

I love avocado, which is a natural oil. It helps you digest food. It is good for the hair, for the skin. I eat avocado toast almost every day for breakfast. But as scrambled eggs with avocado or boiled eggs with avocado. I put avocado on everything,”says Ribeiro. “Now I am eating a lot of vegetables, smoothies and protein bars. I'm doing that for now as my doctor asked me to. I don't meat for two weeks and then the diet changes a little bit.”
