It is not a secret that I have a slight obsession with makeup bases. And I say obsession because although I have some favorites, I love trying new releases and mixing two or three to get the result I like. Of course, finding a base that works well for your skin, that is the perfect color and that leaves your face looking flawless on top, is not an easy thing. Thanks to my work I have the opportunity to try all kinds of makeup before they hit the market, among these many bases from which I have taken out some favorites. Of course, when it's time to try a new one, I don't think twice. This is how I discovered the new Nars base, the one I have been using non-stop for a few months.

I'm talking about the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, the first of a 16-hour duration that the brand creates, and which is also light in consistency, resistant to sweat and has incredible coverage. The best of all? It comes in 33 shades, so it's easy to find your exact color.

Since I started using it, I realized that I did not have to worry about reapplying powder to my face all day and that even after being exposed to the sun and the daily hustle and bustle, the base still looked flawless. I love that I can use it during the day and it looks totally natural, as well as at night applying a little more product to give me even more coverage and drama to my makeup.

It is formulated with amino acid pigments, Nars' exclusive skin optimizing complex, and a combination of raspberry, apple and watermelon, ingredients that help skin maintain its fresh and youthful appearance. The base also does not dry out the skin and does not make it feel heavy, something important to keep in mind especially in this cold season.
