Thin or thick? Shaved or natural? Karen Paba, the Venezuelan eyebrow expert with the most envied client portfolio in the entertainment world, you have the secret to achieving ten eyebrows.

How did you become a brow specialist?

After doing an accounting internship at an [aesthetic] center, studying hard, making many eyebrows and becoming my worst critic, I developed my skills and a touch of good taste, because anyone does beautiful hair, but not a pretty eyebrow.

You have worked with many celebrities, such as Adamari López and Alejandra Espinoza. What do your clients ask you the most?

[Above all] thick, well-defined, thick eyebrows. One of the tricks I did with them was to bring them closer [the eyebrows] since they were very far apart and putting them together gives a feeling of youth and refines the features.

What is your best trick to make very thin and hairless eyebrows appear fuller?

Draw enough strokes creating the illusion that [there is more] hair, in most cases getting out of the frame in its natural way, but always in the direction [that grows] your own hair and weakening the hair follicle, I recommend eyebrow shadow and organic products based on glycerin to fix them.

What is the worst mistake we make when applying makeup and waxing this area?

Do not blur, use crayon, asymmetry and generally use a design that does not match your face type.

What trends are past and which ones will we see more this season?

Very thin, arched or rounded eyebrows are out, and we will continue to see thick, bushy and well defined eyebrows.
