We spoke with the skin care expert to share her tips on how to make tanned skin last longer.
What are your star tips to make your tan last longer?
I would avoid exfoliation and I would also avoid using too much product in and out of the shower because it can eliminate that natural shine that you are trying to maintain.
Would you recommend using a homemade mask for this purpose?
Hydration is the most important thing. In this case, using a good moisturizer is more important than a mask.
We know you are an advocate that maintaining a healthy diet is good for your skin, would you include any changes in the diet to lengthen the tan?
I would add green tea daily, it's great for your skin's health and helps maintain that radiance.
How often should we exfoliate?
In the body once or twice a week is sufficient.
What would be a good salon treatment for this?
In my salon we do a full body microdermabrasion followed by a body oxygen treatment. There's a reason it's called Double Happiness!
